INTERCEP organised this year’s Children’s Day Celebration 2017 at St. Louis College Jos with 10 Schools in attendance. The Topic for discussion was The Survey conducted by National Population Commission (NpoPC) on Violence Against Children. The findings of the Survey prompted President Muhammadu Buhari to Launch the campaign to End Violence Against Children (VAC) in 2015. Students from the various schools presented Papers on their understanding of what constitutes violence against children, thereafter, the Findings of the Survey were shared with them and their Teachers. Thereafter, Certificates of Participation were issued to them by a Staff of the National Human Rights Commission.The joy of it is that participation cut across religious faiths. Students from Sardauna Memorial College (Islamic) crossed over to St. Louis College (Christian)
