As the world totters on the verge of nuclear, religious, Climatic and political conflicts, and recognizing the danger posed to the world and mankind imminent, prominent legal experts from various countries came together with a determination to produce a new legal document that could serve as a foundation for a safe and peaceful world.
Through their collaborative efforts, the Document, Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW) was drafted and officially proclaimed on 14th March 2016.
The Document has 10 Articles and 38 Clauses and it is unique in its inclusion of provisions designed to prevent religious conflicts, often times excluded from many legal instruments. DPCW is intended to compliment other International instruments, such as Universal Declaration of Human Rights thus contributing to sustenance of global peace, (SDG16) which the world is in dire need of.

To build a global family of Peace Networks and Advocates, HWPL, has signed MOUs with governments, Universities, Academic Institutions, Civil Society Organisations and Non-governmental Organizations of which International Centre for Peace Charities and Human development (INTERCEP) is one. INTERCEP signed its MOU with HWPL during a World Peace Summit held in South Korea between 18- 20th September 2023
